For the past 5 or more years, we have used the Veredus boots on our showjumpers. They are absolutely the best boots we have been able to find. The front boots work, and the hind boots are awesome!

Todd Minikus began showing at the grand prix level of show jumping in 1985. He achieved great success with his grey Canadian Thoroughbred, "Thrilling". Thrilling helped Todd achieve four grand prix wins in 1989 and then took the show jumping world by storm in 1990 with an unprecedented sweep of all open jumper classes at the Washington International Horse Show, including the President’s Cup. His record-setting performance earned him Washington’s Ennis Jenkins Award as Leading Rider (he was both Leading Gentleman and Leading National Rider) to go with that year’s Midwest Grand Prix Rider of the Year award. “Thrilling” also earned the honors of the Midwest Horse of the Year.

Two time bronze medal winning U.S. Pan American Team rider Todd Minikus continues to add to his decorated record of over 130 national and international Grand Prix wins. After turning professional in 1980, Todd immediately started to work on earning prestigious titles at competitions around the world. Todd has represented the United States on numerous Nations Cup teams, earned the title of Equestrian of the year in 2014, and has been a proud alternate for the Olympic Show Jumping Team. Todd continues to soar in the show jumping world with some of his most recent accomplishments, including:

  • Second Place in Canadian Pacific $1 Million Grand Prix CSI5* with Quality Girl owned by Quality Group
  • Team Member for United States Nations Cup during Rolex Masters Tournament, Spruce Meadows; Calgary, Canada
  • Team Member for United States Nations Cup Team in Dublin, Ireland
  • Team Member for United States Nations Cup Team in Hickstead, UK

When Todd is not riding and competing horses around the world, he enjoys playing a round of golf and riding his motorcycle. Todd is also known for being as good of a bull rider as he is a grand prix show jumper and very rarely misses the yearly Professional Bull Riding Championships.
